Oxford Varsity takes its name from the oldest rivalry on the water. Since 1829, the Oxford and Cambridge crews have met on the Thames each spring, and the contest has become one of rowing’s enduring rituals.
Victory is measured in years of dawn training, and the winning oar is mounted with pride — a trophy to skill and endurance. This piece honours that tradition, handcrafted from fine wood in the long, elegant lines of a true racing blade. At 2.35 metres it is the longest oar in the range, and its sweep alone is a statement.
